Retail

Our experience in retail has taught us that no two projects are alike. There are multiple ways a retail project can be delivered. We have the understanding and versatility to work with clients in a way that is best for them—from design, construct only, to lump sum to schedule of rates to fast track.

We know that good design is critical to creating a dynamic and successful retail environment. Moreover, design must address the finest detail in order to create a pleasant atmosphere while optimising the performance of materials and minimising future maintenance costs.

Metroplaza Bathurst Chase (2010)

$3.5 million

This shopping mall refurbishment included replacement of two travelators as well as the extension to the Coles area, all while Coles remained trading. It was completed in 2 stages and also included a new LiquorLand bottle shop. It required substantial tenant coordination, as well as after hours works.

St Andrews House Sydney Square (2009)

$1.2 million

Some of these projects involved a two stage process including 4 new cooling towers and a new condenser water system. These works were undertaken to a relatively short schedule (pre-summer), on a complex mechanical system. They also included roof top structural modifications and membrane works. Other projects involved the creation of 2 new building entry lobbies and the refurbishment of the existing Kent Street lobby.

477 Pitt Street Sydney

$3.5 million

The works included the refurbishment of the Food Court space and 200 seat restaurant and kitchen. It involved the relocation of existing escalators and infill of their redundant locations, the creation of additional food court space while the Centre continued to operate with up to 10,000 patrons a day using this space. Works were carried out in 3 x 8 hour shifts.

Glenmore Park AMP Capital

$1.2 million

This project involved the Design & Construction of a new retail building for AMP Capital, which forms part of the Glenmore Park Shopping Centre complex. The building was erected in the car park of the shopping centre and is made up of precast concrete and structural steel elements.

NRMA Tuggeranong

$5 million

One of a number of NRMA Motorserve workshops completed, with an emphasis on ACT work. This project was a combination of a workshop with a retail outlet for NRMA & Thrifty Car Rental.

Warilla Grove Shopping Centre

$2.4 million

Refurbishment of a busy operating retail centre, which involved the reconfiguration of the existing shop layout. As well as the construction of new amenities there were new mall ceilings and flooring, two new entries into the shopping centre, a new carpark and mechanical, electrical and fire services upgrades.
